Sell More Profitably
I'm assuming here that more profitable means at a better margin percentage.
At first sight, it would appear that there are only two ways to be more profitable - put up your prices or cut your costs - but are there other
ways? After all, selling more at the same price whilst not altering your costs, would only deliver more of the same margin.
How about if you could sell extra, different, premium products which complemented the main purchase, that might otherwise not have moved from your
warehouse? Your margin might not change on the core product, but on the complete package there would be a great improvement.
If they are wanted to the extent of being 'craved' by your customers you may even have to buy these premium products in specially. Whatever
happens though, turning stock into cash is the name of the game.
